FAQ

Should I download 32-bit or 64-bit?

This depend on whether your hosting software is 32-bit or 64-bit. If you are on Windows 32-bit, then your hosting software is also 32-bit. If you are on Windows 64-bit or Mac OS X, then your hosting software can be either 32-bit or 64-bit. When in doubt, first try the 32-bit version.

Which plug-in formats are supported?

Both Combo Model V and F come in the VST 2.4 plug-in format for Windows, and VST and Audio Units (AU) for Mac OS X. Note that, although the RTAS plug-in format is not directly supported, Combo Model V and F can be used in Pro Tools via FXpansion's VST to RTAS Adapter.

Will Combo Model V and F run in my hosting software?

Combo Model V and F have been successfully tested in many different hosts, see the PDF manual for a (more or less) complete list. If your hosting software is not on the list, then don't worry. There is a big chance it will work anyway, because (in theory) Combo Model V and F should work in any VSTi/AUi-capable host.

What are the system requirements for Combo Model V and F?

Combo Model V and F will run on Windows XP (SP1 or newer), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), OS X 10.5 (Leopard), OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), OS X 10.7 (Lion), or OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion). Combo Model V and F do not have any other special requirements regarding your computer; if your VST hosting software runs on it, then Combo Model V and F will too.
